| It was supposed to be nice and warm with sunshine but started with cloud, mist and rain, clearing later. The course is looking very pretty and the greens are starting to improve, so score average is improving (better players?!). Kelvin Oxley, on a mission this year, won with 41 points from Spencer Turnbull, Chris Smith, Matt Contreras and Glynn Webber. Contributing nicely, for the rest of us, were Alan 'the gremlin', Bob McWilliams, Roger Walbutton (both looking glum as they came in), Andy Sheehan, Ken Reid (accumulating nicely), John Webster and El Presidente. The Hatter, Yoyo and the Secretary Bird were not in evidence this week plus Trix was not impressive in the shirt department, disappointingly. |
